Between 1990 – 1999 Danielle Steel wrote 23 novels. I have found most of them and several are abridged and some unabridged are only 4-5hrs long. A few are recordings for the blind but by the late 1990’s commercial recording were made. Most of the books were originally on tape, a 10hr book would be costly to produce so abridged was common.
